“National business name search” and “national LLC search” describe the job, not a database. Formation is state law. A company can be an LLC in Wyoming, registered as a foreign LLC in Colorado, and using a county assumed name in Texas. Three records, three offices. A nationwide pass that checks only the headquarters state will miss the foreign qualification.

Nationwide Entity Search is not a national secretary of state and cannot search all official indexes with one government query.
